Komodo boats do not leave from Senggigi beach. They leave from Kayangan Harbour on the far side of Lombok — so every departure starts with an early hotel pickup and a two-hour drive that we arrange, not you.

Pickup zone
Pickup runs from any hotel, resort or villa in Senggigi, Mangsit, Batu Layar and Mataram city. Indicative distances and drive times to the harbour, as of 2026.
The road is sealed the whole way and crosses central Lombok's rice country, with a comfort stop for coffee en route. Properties north of Mangsit or on the outskirts of Mataram may need a small supplement — send the property name when you enquire and we will confirm.
What you can join
Every route we run from Lombok accepts Senggigi and Mataram pickups. What changes is the boat you are collected for.
Shared
Shared 4D3N boat tour
The classic sailing route with a small international group, deck or cabin accommodation, and all meals on board.
Private cabin
Liveaboard
The same island-hopping route with air-conditioned en-suite cabins and a higher standard of service throughout.
Whole boat
Private charter
Your own boat, your own dates and a fully custom route — built for families, honeymooners and groups of six or more.
Fast boat and one-way crossing options exist too, for travellers who need transport towards Flores rather than a full touring itinerary. Ask and we will point you at the right departure for your dates.
Indicative rates
Per-person rates on the shared 4D3N Lombok to Komodo route, unless the small print says otherwise.
Open-trip price per person. Park and entrance fees are not included: Komodo National Park USD 40 per person as a single payment for the whole trip, Whale Shark Teluk Saleh IDR 200,000 per person, and Moyo or Satonda IDR 200,000 to IDR 275,000 per person, with a weekend rate.

The pickup window at your Senggigi or Mataram hotel. Have breakfast boxed by the hotel if you are collected before the restaurant opens. Times vary by boat and season, and your confirmed time arrives by message the evening before.
A short stop in central Lombok for coffee and snacks, roughly halfway across the island.
Arrive at Kayangan Harbour, meet the crew, check in against the manifest and board.
The boat sails east towards Kenawa Island and the Sumbawa coastline, and lunch is served on board. From there it is three nights at sea to Labuan Bajo.
Yes. Mataram city hotels sit inside the standard pickup zone, and airport pickups can be arranged for guests landing on the morning of departure — though we recommend arriving the day before, because a delayed flight cannot hold the boat.
No. The classic route is one-way and ends in Labuan Bajo, Flores, where most guests fly onward to Bali or Jakarta. If you need to come back to Lombok, reverse-direction departures from Labuan Bajo also run and we can pair them with your dates.
Your passport, which is checked against the boat manifest. Cash or card for park fees if they are not prepaid. Motion-sickness tablets if you are sensitive, and a small day bag — large luggage is stowed on board. Wear something comfortable for the two-hour drive.
Often, yes. Shared boats hold seats until shortly before departure when space allows, so message us even one or two days ahead and we will tell you honestly what is still open. In July and August, booking earlier is strongly advised.
