What the crossing costs, honestly.

Fares on the Lombok to Komodo route move with where you sleep and which boat you sleep on — not with the route, which is the same on every class. Here is the published range for the 4-day, 3-night sailing.

What moves the price

Three things decide what you pay.

The 4-day, 3-night itinerary does not change. The cost does — driven first by where you sleep on board, then by the class of boat, then by when you sail.

Driver 1

Where you sleep

Every cabin is air-conditioned with its own bathroom. What moves the price is the bed, the view and the space — a porthole-view bunk at one end, a sea-view queen with a jacuzzi at the other.

  • Porthole view
  • Sea view
  • Jacuzzi

Driver 2

The class of boat

After the cabin, the vessel sets the rate — from a standard shared boat to a luxury liveaboard with well-appointed cabins, gourmet meals and a higher staff-to-guest ratio.

  • Shared
  • Deluxe
  • Luxury liveaboard

Driver 3

When you sail

April to November is the dry season: calmer seas and excellent visibility for snorkelling. November to March brings rougher water and the occasional cancellation.

  • Apr–Nov dry
  • Nov–Mar wet

Komodo Island, Padar, Pink Beach and Manta Point are on every 4D3N sailing, whichever class you book.

Before you budget

The three money questions.

All the questions, answered

What does a Lombok to Komodo tour actually cost?

From USD 425 per person for the Captain Cabin up to USD 755 for the Ikan Cabin, on the 4-day, 3-night open trip. Every berth is a cabin — there is no deck option on this boat.

Are Komodo National Park fees in the price?

No. Park entry fees sit outside the base fare and should be budgeted separately. They are mandatory and go towards conservation; the exact 2027 figure is confirmed when you book.

Is there a cheap option for solo travellers?

The Captain Cabin at USD 425 is the lowest fare on the boat — bunk beds, air conditioning and its own bathroom, shared with one other guest. It is an open trip, so you sail alongside other travellers for the four days.
